Placement rules
Every paid placement is labeled "Advertisement", and any affiliate link is labeled "Paid link: we may earn a commission if you buy through this link." Ads must be truthful and not misleading, as the FTC's advertising and endorsement rules require. Advertisers are responsible for confirming that they may legally advertise in the places where their ad appears. We will decline any placement that the law prohibits or that is deceptive, such as engagement-faking services, income promises that cannot be backed up, or offers that state licensing or registration rules cover when the advertiser does not meet them (for example casino-play or sportsbook affiliate offers). Every sponsor is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
